    Hello my husband is finishing up AIT and we just got his orders that he will be going to Ft. Campbell. His DS just told him yesterday that he WILL be getting deployed how true is this? and if so when will he find out when he?｢どｨび｢s leaving? My husband wants me to move out there with him but I?｢どｨび｢m scared that if I do he will get deployed shortly after and we both want myself to be around family and friends here in California. How can we find out if and when he will get delpoyed? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Vanessa, unfortunately you will not know for sure if he will be deployed or not. Nothing is for sure until he has orders in hand. It is scary, you will have to do what is best for you and your relationship. Sometimes it?｢どｨび｢s just best by learning. A lot of other spouses have opted to stay with their husbands as long as possible (meaning they moved) and then once orders come down they decide on how to proceed. Don?｢どｨび｢t believe anything at least until you have something in writing?｢どｨｬｶ.until then these are unlaid eggs.

    all 4 bct?｢どｨび｢s have just returned from a deployment to afghanistan and are on dwell time. if the unit he goes to is already slotted for a deployment he will find out as soon as he gets there. if you know what brigade he is going to you can call the bct s-1 and ask if they have been slotted.
